About Us
Jake Letkeman grew up in Seminole, Texas as part of the Mennonite community that settled there. Like many in that community, he learned the value of hard work early, starting at 16 to help support his family.
At 19, Jake landed his first job in construction and moved to Lubbock. He never looked back. Two years later, he married his wife Annie, and the two have been together for 33 years. They have two children, a son and a daughter, both now teenagers. His son Campbell now works alongside him at Rock Solid.
After more than three decades in the construction industry, Jake founded Rock Solid Industries. In 2024, the company became Rock Solid Construction, a full-service metal building company and commercial construction contractor serving Lubbock and all of West Texas.
What drives Jake is simple: he loves to build something worth building. While plenty of projects focus on keeping costs down, his favorite customers are the ones who share his vision for craftsmanship. The ones who say, “I want to build something really cool.” Those are the projects that remind him why he got into this business in the first place.
Jake and his family are members of Trinity Fellowship Church in Lubbock. That faith and those West Texas roots show up in how Rock Solid does business: honest work, fair dealings, and buildings that last.
